I moved to the area about a year ago, and after trying a few places, I finally found a nail salon I absolutely love. Walking into Puffin Nails for the first time, I was nervous--I hadn't had a pedicure in years because of a skin‑picking disorder that makes it difficult to maintain my nails. Yuri greeted me with warmth and zero judgment. She added a bit of acrylic to my toenail to even things out and make it look completely normal. That simple act of kindness--and the way she treated me with dignity--meant so much that I nearly cried. Since then, I've been seeing Yuri regularly, and my nails have grown out enough that I no longer need any acrylic tips. The staff at Puffin Nails are consistently sweet and attentive. The salon itself is bright and calming, with lots of natural light and comfortable chairs. I'm always impressed by their huge selection of gel colors, and every visit feels like a small retreat. I walk out feeling confident and taken care of. If you're looking for a relaxing environment with a talented, compassionate team, I highly recommend Puffin Nails. Every time I walk out of their salon, I feel renewed and confident.

I truly love this nails. I decided to get this design for a concert. They told me, it was their first time doing this design, so I was a little nervous. However, they turned out amazing. They fulfilled my expectations. I highly recommend this nail salon. The people are very friendly, the place is really cute and clean.

This adorable gem of a salon is tucked away near the Wells Fargo in the Oak Grove Plaza shopping center. I promised my daughter she could get her nails done for back to school and she was recommended this place by her friend. After searching inspos with my daughter, I decided to join in the fun. It’s been a minute since I’ve had artificial nails so I was not aware of all the new ways they do it. Gone are the old days of simple smelly acrylics. This place aims to minimize the chemicals and opts for dip powder or gel extensions. I absolutely love the results! My daughter got dip and I got Gel X which suited our requested designs best. This place delivered. Their nail artists are top notch and so friendly. Highly recommend!!

10/10 recommend Puffin Nails. I moved to Concord in 2023 and was thankful to find my go to nail salon. I always call to make an appointment. And my appointments stay on time! There’s so many color options to choose from and they have dip, regular gel and builder gel options. Recently I’ve been testing nail colors for my upcoming wedding. I wanted a nice neutral look so I was trying out the OPI colors funny bunny and bubble bath and what not. But Queenie talked me into trying something new and different since I still had time to test it out. And I’m so happy I listened to her. She helped me find my absolute perfect wedding day nails and I can’t thank her enough. I love them!!

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now and I love my nails everytime. Recently Alissa has been doing them and she does a great job. My grandma also loves to have Nancy do her pedicures & when I come alone she always asks how my grandma is doing. Everyone here is great.

Puffin Nails in Concord, CA is my go-to local nail salon and a true small business worth supporting. I started coming here right after I moved to Concord and I’m so glad I found them. I think I've been coming every few weeks for about 2 years now. I am surprised I didn't leave a review sooner. The salon is clean and cute, with plenty of parking in the big shopping center. I usually text Eric a couple of days before I want an appointment and he always finds a way to fit me in. As a business owner myself, I really notice the sacrifice it takes to run a business. Eric is a hands-on owner who shows up every day, and you can see the effort and care in how this place is run. I come for dip powder manicures and gel pedicures. They also have brand-new pedicure chairs. Everyone is friendly, and no matter who I see the work is consistently excellent. They’re on time for appointments, and if I arrive early they start the soak-off right away which is super efficient. If you’re looking for the best nail salon in Concord for dip manicures or gel pedicures, Puffin Nails is it. Sweet people, reliable service, and a clean, well-run shop. I love this nail salon! Everyone is so kind and friendly. I call to make my appointment a day or two before and they are always on time. I get dip manicures; they are smooth, refined and beautiful every time. My nails always look great! 10/10 recommend!
